Specific Program Experience

 

 

 

 

We have extensive experience within the following programs:

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) funds can be used for a variety of community development opportunities such as providing affordable housing, a suitable living environment and economic opportunities. This program is for individuals and families with income below 80 percent of the area median income. CDBG funds can also be used for the elimination of slum and blight.

HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds are used to develop affordable housing opportunities for households with income under 80 percent of the area median income.

Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was established for the purpose of stabilizing communities that have suffered from foreclosures and abandonment. Through the purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned homes and residential properties, the goal of the program is to revitalize the hardest-hit communities.

Municipal Bonds are debt obligations issued by states, cities, counties and other public entities who use the loans to fund public projects such as the construction of schools, hospitals, highways, sewers, universities and housing. Housing bonds are securities backed by mortgages and mortgage loan repayments.
